Lee Crooks

Lee Crooks was a standout player for Hull FC, known for his strong running, slight-of-hand ball-playing and his exceptional goal-kicking ability. Making his debut as a teenager in 1980, Crooks quickly established himself as a key player, securing the John Player Trophy and Challenge Cup in only his second season. The following year, he bagged a third major trophy at the age of just 20, as Hull FC went on to claim the Championship title. Over his seven year career at the club, he earned international honours and became a fan favourite, before being transferred to Leeds in 1987 for a then world record £150.000 fee.
