James Roby

James Roby is a modern-day Saints legend, whose career has defined an era of excellence at the club. Making his debut in 2004, Known for his dynamic running from dummy-half and his relentless work ethic, Roby was a cornerstone of St Helens’ four consecutive Super League titles from 2019 to 2022. His longevity and consistency saw him make seven appearances in the Super League Dream Team, and he was named Man of Steel in 2007. Roby’s legacy is cemented as one of the greatest players in the the club’s history, embodying the spirit and success of St Helens for nearly two decades.
