
Hussein M’Barki was a long-serving and influential player for Fulham and later London Crusaders. The versatile Morocco-born back joined the club in 1981, and his versatility gave him the ability to play anywhere across the backline. A thrilling runner and committed defender, he finished his first spell with the club in 1984, before rejoining in 1988 until his retirement in 1992. He earned a reputation as a speedy and skillful winger, and his contributions helped establish rugby league in the capital. A fan favourite during his two spells with the team, M’Barki would go on to become a London Hall-of-Famer.
