Ruben Wiki

Ruben Wiki was a linchpin of the New Zealand rugby league team for 12 years, earning a record 55 Test caps between 1994 and 2006. Initially making his debut as a powerful and rugged centre before transitioning to the pack, Wiki brought toughness, leadership, and immense work ethic to the Kiwis. He played a key role in New Zealand’s historic 2005 Tri-Nations triumph, captaining the side to a stunning 24-0 win over Australia in the final – the Kiwis’ first series victory versus the Kangaroos since 1952. His commitment to the jersey was legendary, and he became the first New Zealander to play 50 Tests.
