Trevor Foster made his debut for Bradford in 1938 and went on to become one of the club’s greatest players during a career spanning nearly two decades. A tireless second-row forward, Foster was super-fit, having been a physical training instructor in the British Army during World War 2. He was instrumental in Bradford’s success during the 1940s and 1950s, helping the club win the Challenge Cup in 1947 and 1949. Foster’s commitment to Bradford extended beyond his playing days, and he remained closely associated with the club throughout his life. He made over 400 appearances for the club.
