Sean O’Loughlin is a Wigan legend whose career epitomises loyalty, leadership, and excellence. Debuting for Wigan in 2002, O’Loughlin quickly established himself as a versatile and skilled loose forward, known for his exceptional ball-handling, defensive prowess, and ability to read the game. Over an 18-year career, he became the heart and soul of the Wigan team, captaining the side from 2006 until his retirement in 2020. Under his leadership, Wigan enjoyed a period of sustained success, winning four Super League titles, two Challenge Cups, and a World Club Challenge. His consistency and longevity saw him selected for the Super League Dream Team on eight occasions.
