Lee Briers

Lee Briers was a pivotal figure for Warrington, renowned for exceptional playmaking skills and game management. Joining the club in 1998, Briers quickly established himself as the team’s midfield general. His vision, tactical kicking, and ability to orchestrate play made him a key asset for Warrington as they progressed from mid-table to regular contenders for honours. He played a crucial role in three Challenge Cup wins, including earning a Lance Todd Trophy as man of the match in the 2010 final. Briers still holds the Super League record for most drop goals in a game with 5 and most in a season with 11.
