Keith Fielding

Keith Fielding is heralded as one of Salford’s most electrifying players, known for his blistering pace and try-scoring ability. Joining Salford in 1973 from Moseley rugby union, Fielding quickly made his mark as a dynamic winger. His speed and agility made him a constant threat to opposition defences, and he became a key figure in Salford’s successful run during the 1970s, including their Championship titles in 1974 and 1976. Fielding’s fame spread further afield, frequently appearing on BBC’s Superstars programme, winning the 1981 British competition and the 1981 Challenge of the Champions.
