Gavin Miller

Gavin Miller was a dynamic and influential player for Hull KR, known for his powerful running and offloading skills as a loose forward. Joining the club in 1984, the Australian international quickly made his mark, becoming a central figure in Hull KR’s pack. Miller’s aggressive style and ability to create opportunities for his teammates were key assets during his time at the club. He played a pivotal role in helping Hull KR win the 1985 John Player Trophy and the Championship title in the same season, as well as reaching the 1986 Challenge Cup Final. Although his stint was relatively brief, Miller’s impact was significant, and he was recognised by being named Man of Steel in 1986.
