Andrew Farrell enjoyed an illustrious career with Wigan, where he became one of the most respected and influential players in rugby league. Making his debut in 1991 as a 16-year-old, Farrell quickly rose to prominence with his powerful running, impeccable goal-kicking, and exceptional leadership qualities. Playing primarily as a loose forward, he captained the Wigan club to numerous successes, including lifting the Super League trophy after winning the inaugural Grand Final at Old Trafford in 1998. A two-time winner of the Man of Steel award in 1996 and 2004, Farrell’s consistency made him a cornerstone of Wigan’s dominance throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
